Straight Vertical and Horizontal line through a single scatter point.

I was wondering if the is a way to have a straight line go through a single point on a scatter plot and extend to the end of the graph. Is there away to do this since my axis values will be updated constantly. I need the line to go both vertical and horizontal.

As no-one has presonded yet I can point you to some help (I don't have experience with scatter charts but the principles are the same).
You will need to add an extra series for each line into the existing graph. For one line all the x values will be the same (half the x value of the scatter chart). And as you might guess teh other line does the same in reverse (Y axis).
Once the vlaues are entered in cells, select the data for the first line, copy the range and simply select the chart and paste the values. Repeat for the second values. Change the chart type for each of the exra series tp plot lines not scatter.

I've also seen this sort of thing done using error bars. Wherever it is in the new interface, tell Excel to include both x and y error bars for the point in question that extend to 100% of the value.
