Creating "rowwise" data bars in pivots -- where each row gets its own scaling

I want to have each row in a pivot (each row has a very different measure and therefore scaling) have data bars whose sizes appears in relation to the range of values seen in the row, not the overall pivot table.

If I select the entire pivot and data bars, the scaling is relative to the range of all values seen in the pivot so measures that are by their nature small get de-emphasized even though relative to the row some should be emphasized.

The only way I seem to do this is select individual rows one-at-a-time and then apply the data bar formatting (very cumbersome).

    Any options?

    Thx

Bump. I think the challenge here is that I'm trying to add conditional formatting data bars TO A PIVOT. If it were any other tabular range of cells, I'd have a little more lattitude. I'm going to mess around w/ the format painter and see if there's a way to make this happen (and hopefully it's robust and stable). I know I can't paste special formats on a pivot. I've already played around w/ the absolute / relative references in the conditional formatting, so far not landing on anything.

Note the same challenges would exist for icon sets or color scales conditional formatting, I just happen to be using data bars.
