Easy Chart (for someone who knows what they are doing)

Hi All, previously received excellent advice in the past, so I'm hoping I will find more help. It is much appreciated

I have 3000 pgms to covert and I'd like to monitor progress. So throughout NOV we converted 1000 of them, 1000 in DEC then the remainder by Mid FEB 2013.

Obviously I have the actuals for NOV and DEC and I can firecast when the remainder will be down

I want to show forecast against actuals and keep track accordingly.

I'd like to have the Y axis with the overall number of pgms, with a burndown with forecast v actuals according to the date on the x axis

Additionally if I have a list of the 3000 pgms they may not be completed in sequence so is there anything I can do to scan all of the data as a whiole before plotting the graph?

ie 1000 which were completed in NOV will be scattered (they were not the first 1000 in the list) but I'd like to know and count how many were completed between 5th and 10th NOV (Or wk 1 of NOV if easier) for example
