How do I chart pivot table total on 2nd axis?

I have a Pivot table with 4 items of approximate values that change over time. The pivot chart looks great.
I want to be able to include the total of those for items on the secondar axis with copying the data to a raw table.
    Suggestions?
    thanks

    Suggestions:
    1. Use stacked chart
    2. Insert a calculated field/item into the Pivot table then format that serie in secondary axis

I have tried your second suggestion, but could not figure out the equation. For example if the data falls into four catagories of DATA, A, B, C and D, when I added the calculated field, it was added to all for catagories. can you help with the equation, perhaps something like:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Select a cell in your pivot table
Right click and go to Pivot table options
Go to total and filters tab and ensure grand total for row and columns is checked
This should give you the grand total without formula
    Or
Select a cell in your pivot table
    Go to options tab
    Select formula option
    Click on calculated field
    Give your formula a name
Go to formula and type = then click on first field to bring it in the formula bar add + and pick the next field
Add all the fields and click OK you will have the total of items you want to include
    Thanks/VKS

If Data "falls into 4 categories", I thick you must use Calculated items, not calculated fields:

    Insert then use formula = A + B + C+ D

It will appear a new serie on pivot chart, then format it in secondary axis.

That was the key using, Calculated Items instead of Calculated Fields. Thank you.
    This is solved
