non uniform axis spacing

I would like to create a scatter plot that has variable spacing for the x-axis. For example 1,2,3,4,5,10,15,20,25,35,45... I am presenting data that has along time history but needs more focus on the initial time periods.

Use a Line chart and set the Category axis to cross on tickmarks.
