Finding the intersection of two trend lines.

I hope I am doing this correctly, first post. I have two sets of data. A depreciation curve (I am using the starting cost and my estimated value in the future) and the cummulative maintenance cost. I then have used trend lines to project both out. Is there a way I can find the values for where they intersect? I have attached a sample I think. Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at this but can't figure out how to get it to work in my data set. I keep getting a #NAME error with the formula. I may be misunderstanding the way the formula works but it looks like it is for a regular graph. I don't see how it works for the trend line type.

    Again thanks for any help.

It looks like Andy's approach is a linear interpolation type approach to finding the points of intersection.

What kind of trendlines are you using? I don't know how much experience or how much you remember from high school, but my first thought to approaching this problem would be to "solve the system of equations" represented by the two trendlines. Of course the details would depend on the types of trendlines.
