Conditional Formatting to all cells including PivotTable

Hi,

I am trying to create a kind of 'dashboard' in Excel, where a group of cells are a certain colour. These group of cells, predominantly, are blank but there are three graphs (data comes from a different tab) and there is a pivot table (again the data comes from a different tab).

I have set up a conditional formatting so that these group of cells turn a certain colour if they are blank - therefore leaving the pivot table white/no fill.

This all works fine, however the data for the pivot table changes every month, so when I refresh it I would like the pivot table, and the cells, to keep the conditional formatting... The two pictures below show a 'before' and 'after' me refreshing the pivot.

Is there any way that I can make the spreadsheet keep the conditional formatting on all of the sum of days cells or not?

HI there,,

First select the pivot table using command Select -> Pivot table and then you'll see the pivot table in the dropdown where you can choose to apply the C. formatting on pivot table and that will remain there when pivot resizes.. in case of any issues, upload the workbook not the image. thanks.
