Bar charts in specific order?

I've just stated using charts this week.

I'm displaying 4 shift figures per week
lets name them shift 1 shift 2 etc. On the bar chart they are displayed in the order which is populated from the range selected so first is shift 1 then shift 2.

BUT what I would like if possible and not messing with my data range is, the graph to automatically display the highest bar first then second highest bar second and so on.
so this would obviously vary from week to week, and it would look neater

Can this be done??

I think the only way is to sort your data first (either ascending or descending). Feel free to prove me wrong though.

Use a filter and set it to either ascending or descending. The chart will update automatically. (Provided you have automatic calculation turned on.)

by the sounds of it then i'm going to need a macro, as the sheet is filled out with a macro using a cell offset during the week. And the sheet where the graph data comes from would be hidden as it's on a separate sheet.
I'll leave the thread open for a couple of days to see if anyone can think of another way around??? Might be worth me uploading the sheet too?
