Need help to draw shaded confidence interval for seperate data series

    Hi,

I have used stacked area graph to plot the confidence interval for my first data series (Data 1). I have attached my data sheet and graphs (plz have a look). I have modified my data to min, avg-min, max-avg to draw the graph. Finally, I formatted the min area plot with no fill. Then the graph looks like in the attached sheet.

Now I need to draw the same for other two series (Data 2, Data 3) in the same graph. Looking for your help in this regards

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shawpnik,

First I would have suggested using a Stacked Area chart like you have created but rearranging your data as such..

However, as you can see, there is a bug in Excel that will not allow you to use Gaps for stacked area charts. That is why the middle group goes to zero points. I even tried to move the middle series to the second axis and it only fixed part of the issue.

Therefore, i would recommend using your original data in a different manner by using Hi Lo Lines like this picture shows:

Here is the file for your reference.Panel Area Chart Confidence Level.xlsx

Please let me know if this helps

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for your reply.

You have drawn the graph in a same graph but with three seperate segment in X-axis. I need to draw the graphs for all of the data series (data 1, data 2, data 3) for one segment only. I mean, there should be only one x-axis with 2021 to 2035, not the three segement with three 2021 to 2035.

I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

    Best regards
