Pivot Table not showing all data

I am going to use this to track register shortages. I input the information every day, and the operators would not be in any order. I just type them in as they were on the register. I want the pivot table to tell me how many shortages (incidents) each cashier has.

I am missing data on the pivot table that I have created. I am just learning about these tables, so be kind.

    Thanks in advance.

    Which data are you missing?

If it is the data from column F onwards, that is because your PT range only goes to Input'!$A$2:$E$43...and it only to column E because you have row 2 merged from E onwards

We tell people all the time to avoind merging cells at all costs - they cause nothing but problems later on.

If I am correct, remove the merging, and change the range to Input'!$A$2:$V$43

Re: Pivot Table not showing all data

What would be the best/easiest way to input this information that I need in order to get a working pivot table? I made the input page that way because that is the order that I get the information. Month, day, register, amount short, then the operators. I need this pivot table to tell me how many shortages each operator has been involved with.

I removed the merge, but then it wants me to name each row, E thru V are operator numbers inserted in no particular order.

Do I use a pivot table for this? I just want it to tell me how many incidents each operator has had and the total amount of thier incidents.

See if the attached is a direction you would consider going in? because of the way your data is laid out, it makes it difficult to analyse.

I have put all the teller numbers in 1 column, off to the side

    Thanks for the help.

That was my first attempt at making this. The drawback is each operator is on 3 to 4 registers per day. With this lay out, I had to add each shortage together for each register the operator was on. I think I'll start all over from scratch and rethink this whole thing.
