    Excluding "0" from data labels

Is there an easy way to exclude "0" values from data labels?
I have a table with raw data in it (which is supposed to include 0 values so I cant delete them)
All I can think of doing is a replica table using
    If(OR(Index(A1:B5,1,3)=0,Index(A1:B5,1,3)=""),"",Index(A1:B5,1,3))

but there must be an easier way right?

you can change the number format of the data labels on the chart by selecting it and adjusting the properties.

If you change the format to something like: 0;-0;""

that will make the zeros disappear.

Is that what you're looking for?

im wondering if you can just exclude the whole bar from the graph if its 0...
if you have 3 series which have these values:
    series 1: 8,0,6
    series 2: 9,5,3
    series 3: 7,1,0

and plotted it in a bar graph, the first and third group of bars would only have 2 bars in its group whereas the middle group would have 3 bars in it.
im not sure if its possible though :S

I'm not sure I understand, the bar shouldn't appear if the value is zero. Can you post a demo workbook showing what you mean?

the bar wont appear if the value is 0 however a space for the bar would still be there.
I will try to post a demo later, I am not allowed to post from work machines but I think you have the right idea!

I think I see what you're getting at and no, I don't think that's possible... could be wrong though!
