Creating Lines On a Scatter Plot Help Please

I have two questions about creating lines on a scatter plot that I am hoping somebody can help me with. So I have created two different scatter plots and need to put two different lines in.

First (Top Graph in Picture Below). I need a line that follows the equation 8000+3X. It should intercept the two points indicated.

Second (Bottom Graph in Picture Below). I need a line that follows the equation 4100+1700X.

Can anybody tell me how to do this???

Suggest setting up a second series on the graph which is driven by using the formula in the sheet cells in the normal manner e.g. =3*A1+8000

I'm not sure how I do that. Could you elaborate with more detail?

Build a table of values. Mine usually look something like (comma delimited):

Then add this series to the chart using the select data source dialog box (For 2013, but I believe it is the same basic procedure in 2007 -- check the help files for 2007) http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...310.aspx?CTT=1
