OK, this is weird. I've never had this happen before and I'm wondering if someone can help me out....

I need to create 22 charts that each need to have the exact same formatting. Each chart has five series, each series has about 2,500 points. I put all of the charts within one worksheet for easy vewing. I've made this workbook a few times before, and never had this problem.....

I create one chart that I use as a "master" template. I then copy and paste that chart, but update the series so it references the new data instead of the previous data. This is quick, it keeps the same formatting, and I just have to update the data reference.

This works fine until I get about to the 9th chart. On the 9th chart it won't copy/paste correctly. It might paste a blank chart. It might paste the last thing I tried to copy to the clipboard (that isn't the chart I just copied). It might paste some random numbers from that chart into a cell in the worksheet. It might not paste anything at all. It might do anything it wants, but it wont copy and paste the chart.

I've tried starting a whole new workbook. I just copied and pasted the raw data over, no charts or anything... on about the 9th chart it just stopped pasting. I've tried restarting Excel several times. I've tried restarting my machine. Nothing works. When I start over, the problem starts happening on about the 9th graph, after that everything just goes bananas. I can manually add the rest of the graphs if I want to... but it would take about 50 times longer that way.
