    help with a custom number format

    Can anyone help me format axis labels of a chart so that it shows "- K" for points less than 1,000 and the whole number without the three zeros for more than 1K. I'm able to get the whole number w/o the zeros using this: #, K. I just need help with making less than 1,00 show "-".
