Graphing 95th percentile. Is this the correct method?

    Hi forum,

I wanted to make sure that I was graphing the 95th percentile correctly before sending my work.

I highlighted all my data in a single column starting with "=PERCENTILE(C3:C2851,0,01)" and ending with "=PERCENTILE(C3:C2851,0,95)"

I then graphed all 95 results in a line chart. Is this accurate?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

The 95th percentile for your range is just a single value obtained using, =PERCENTILE(C3:C2851,0.95), so you should only be plotting a single value for each range of data.
