Dates in Axis

I have a spreadsheet that contains information every day from 1/1/2006 to today. I then have a cell that dictates the "start date". What I want is for the chart series data to look at the start date and pull all datum points from that date until today. I also want to be able to change the "start date" which will change the chart. Is this possible??

I hope this is a partial solution in the attached spreadsheet.
Col. A,B - your data
Col. D - start date
Col. F, G -chart data
Change the date in D2 and you will see the line change in the chart. What I cannot figure out is how to adjust the axis dynamically, but I hope this moves you toward a solution. If I can adjust the axis dynamically, I'll post again.

Here's a much more effective result in the attached file using the =OFFSET function to make your data series completely flexible. To see relevant details, click:
FORMULAS-DEFINED NAMES-NAME MANAGER (See "Date" and "Value.")
Then, click on the chart, and right-click:
SELECT DATA-Value-EDIT-SERIES VALUES to see where "Value" formula is inserted in the series.
Click the EDIT button for the horizontal axis to see where the "Date" formula is used in the function for that series.

Enter a new date in E1 to test the chart. (Make sure the date you enter is one of those listed in column A.)
