use only certain values from a column (please read OP)

    Hi,

On Sheet 1, column A, I have my club's opposition teams played throughout the season (e.g. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City...)
In column B, i have the team's successful passes in each of those matches.

Sheet 2 is dedicated to a single player in my team (e.g. John Smith). Column A has a list of the matches he has played in the season.
In column B, it has his John Smith's individual successful passes for each of those matches.

I have produced a chart showing John Smith's successful passes throughout the season in the matches he has played by using columns A and B on sheet 2.
However, I would also like to add the team's successful passes on the same chart.

If I add new chart data from column B on sheet 1, it will show the values for all the matches the team has played. However, John Smith has not played every match.
Is it possible to have the chart show the team's successful passes from only the matches John Smith has played?

    thank you

Why not have another column on John Smith's sheet that shows the team's passes for the games he played in.

It could be populated with a simple VLOOKUP.

You should then be able to show player passes and team passes on the same chart.
