    Unique Count in Pivot Table

    Hi,

I would like to know if we can count unique values on a pivot table. I have attached a file. If this cannot be done, is there a formula to do this?

My aim is to count the number of Person ID's who attend the gym between the dates of 20/12/12 to 08/03/13.

    Please can anybody help?

    Many thanks,

    louise

Re: Unique Count in Pivot Table

Unique values in a pivot table are only possible in excel 2013.
A workaround is to create a column in your original table that puts a "1" if the value is unique, and "" if it already is listed. You can then sum this column in the pivot table to get your unique count.
If your values were in column B, starting in row 2, this formula dragged down would work:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

The attached file should take into account the additional criteria.
