    Question How to set the distance between chart series in stacked column chart

    Hello.

    My problem is following:

    I've created a stacked colum chart, like
    stacked-chart-original.png

    But how can I to decrease the distance between chart series like
    stacked-chart-original.png
    ?

    My excel sheet is
    chart_example.xlsx

    Select one of the series.
    CTRL+1 to display Format dialog.
    On Series tab reduce the Gap Width value.

    Thanks Andy for your very quick answer. Your solution I've tried before but it didn't resolve the issue. I need two charts for a each month to be closer not for all charts. The following picture it descibes in right way

    Sorry, missed that there should be a gap between Months.

    Only way to get Actuals closer to Plan is to add empty categories around existing data. But it does not look pretty.
