changing data source for all tables connected with slicer

Is there a way to update the data source for all tables that have their filters attached using a slicer? You can't update the tables one at a time without removing the slicer and it would be nice to be able to update a file periodically, expanding the source data, without deleting and recreating the slicer.

    Can you provide example?

I created a small data set A1:F5 and created 2 pivot tables each with a slicer for filtering row items.
I added data to the data set, A1:F10, and refreshed 1 of the PT's without affecting the other or having to remove slicers.

I'm assuming your situtation is more complex.
    Cheers

I am assuming that in the data source you specified the entire column. However, if the data source is selected as only the cells A1:F5 and you add data, is there a way to change the source on multiple tables connected with a slicer? another way to look at it would be to add a new column and try to change the source.

No not full columns only the range mentioned.

Just did A1:B6, create table with slicer. Then extend to A1:C6 with no problem.
