    adding confidence intervals to the bar chart

    Hello,
    could you please help to solve the problem concerning adding line segments, which represent confidence intervals (values in the columns 'X-s' and 'X+s'), to the bar chart, as shown in the attached example. The top ends of the bars indicate observation means.

    Yes, it is ok. I have just added line segments, that join minimum and maximum values (values in the columns 'X+s' and 'X-s').

    Any reason why you do not use the built in error bars, which are designed for this purpose?

    In you data set you will need to recalculate the +/- X values to use to be an offset from X value rather than absolute X value.

    Could you please show me how to use 'built in error bars' in the attached Excel worksheet?
    I send you also my proposal for visualisation of these data.
