Plot two series ordered by different dates in the same graph, on the same x-axis.

Hi again!

Today i want to make a chart plotting data for two series, according to date. My problem is that in one series there is data four times per year and in the other only one time per year. Since excel can recognize dates I figure excel also should be able to handle to put two series ordered by different dates in the same graph. But i just can't figure out how. Do you know?
