Help with Pivot table data updating issue

    Hello,

I created a file in Excel 2010 with a Database sheet (list of tasks). In this sheet depending on the value of a cell A, the "Status" column defines whether the status is Complete, In Progress, NOT RUN, etc..

Then I have other sheet with a pivot table where for each task by location, it counts the number of tasks Completes, In Progress, Not Run, etc..

The problem not always we have each type of status (ie, sometimes in a list, no tasks are "In Progress"). In this case, as the status column of the database sheet has no “In Progress”, while updating the pivot table the entire column where it should be In Progress (showing 0 if none) simply disappears.

Is there any way to set static headers, e.g. to fill column A for Complete, column B for In Progress and column C for NO RUN despite these values are included in the data source or not, so in case the status is not found, the pivot table shows no values for that status without disappearing the column?

Thank you in advance for your help.
