Pivot table not showing filtered results

My company has a sales journal spreadsheet which pulls its data straight from the ERP system. I've created pivot tables for my reports which break down all sales by week, month, quarter and year.

My problem is that if I apply a filter to the sales spreadsheet, my pivot table ignores what I've filtered and shows ALL the data.

How can I get the pivot table to recognize the filtered results?

    Thank you in advance.

Did you enter your data to filter, in the box rapportfilter?

Then you can filter the values you want to exclude.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

the filters themselves work great. my problem is that i have two spreadsheets, the sales journal (which i applied the filters to) and my report (which has the pivot tables).
when i apply filters to the first sheet, the pivot tables in the second sheet dont recognize it, and it reports back ALL of the data, not the filtered data.

So U need to select the filter in the pivot table.

Otherwise post an excel example without confidentional information.

Please also add the desired (expected) result.
