Combining two data sets (tables), with one common denominatior

I have attached an image of my two Tables, I am trying to combine these sheets into a summary page or chart using the "Project" as what groups the data together, I have tried to use =Vlookup, but cannot seem to make that work!

    Please help!

    Hi lomacm,

    welcome to the forum.

Instead of an image, upload a Excel workbook so that forum members can give a quick practical shot. thanks.

Okay.. both sheet have common projects though repeated
but what about Expense and Vendor columns ?

Labour sheet has 4 rows for project "Bins" but Materials sheet has 11 rows .. now how many you want 15 or 11 (including 4 from labour sheet).. can you show your expectations basis this scenario ? Thanks.
