Pivot table- sorting with value filter problem

Hi,

I have our company suppliers in the row area and the different divisions in the company in the column area.

In the row area im trying to exclude som of our suppliers by unmarking them in the list. After that I want to see the 10 biggest suppliers (i dont want to see the ones i've unmarked) and use the value filter and top 10. When i do that the suppliers I had unmarked are back and in my top 10.

Am i doing something wrong? How can I make this work?

I guess filtering again as top 10 resets the earlier choices (exclusion).. but need to confirm my statement... can you upload the sample workbook? thanks.

Yes.. you are right.

First unselect all filter values and then you can select all the names in column A and then come out and now you can remove just Adam
