    Chart axis

    Hi All

I want to extend my horizontal axis (days) from 14 to 20. If I click select data it allows me to 'edit' my horizontal axis by highlighting another selection. However, this is not actually represented on the graph, it remains at what it was. Is there an easy way to do this or am I missing a step?

    Re: Chart axis

    Hi Jason,

If I am not mistaking it...click on chart and then go to ribbon menu option "Layout" -> now select the axis in left side drop down and click on "format selection" and now do the editing.

    Or:-
    1. Select your plot line
    2. Right click and select "Add Trendline"
    3. At the bottom of the trendline popup you can extend the data forwards by n periods - just add 6
