Formatting a Chart Legend Key Excel 2003

I am using charts (line and bar graph charts) which are color coded. Everything works well, but the legend key (not the font, but the box containing the color) which identifies the meaning of the colored bar/line is so small! The font size is perfect, but I would like to make the box containing the identified color larger. How do I do this? The choice of "Format Legend Key" only lets me modify the color or box lines (in other words, the appearance) but it does not let me modify the size of the box so it is more visible upon printout.

    I am using Excel 2003.

Thanks a whole bunch. Each time I've asked for help here my problem has been solved, so I'm hoping for success again.

The size of the legend marker is determnined by the legend font size. You could add a dummy series and increase the font size of that entry which will have an effect on the others, but not there actual font size.
