Protecting a pivot table sheet with a slicer

    Hi,

I have a large set of data that I've organized in pivot tables for different managers and their employees. I want to create a pivot table (seperate sheet) for each manager that links to the whole set of data and add a slicer so that he can quickly visualize the data for his different employees.

I want the manager to be able to use the slicer to check info about his employees but protect the worksheet so that he can't filter his report to have access to the other manager's employees.

One of the constraints is that I don't want to cut my data into different sets because it is very time consuming and prone to errors in the long run since the sheets will be updated regularly.

    Thanks for your help !

What I suggest is keep a helper sheet with formula which should populate the managers data alone from the Total Base Data based on the Manager Name. Build a pivot by keeping the source data from helper sheet.

So whenever any change in manager selection then the helper sheet will get only the selected managers data and based on that pivot will populate that managers data alone.

What do you mean by a helper sheet ? How will it be splitting the data ?
    Thanks.
