    3 bar-chart questions: a) Irregular y-axis (E.g. Show 26%, 13%, 0, -4%)

    Hello,

I would like some help with a bar chart I'm trying to create.

    a) How can I create an irregular y-axis? For example, lets say i want the labels in the axis and the horizontal lines to be 26%, 13%, 0 and -4%. Is this possible?

    b) How can I increase the size of the space between the y-axis and the first bar?

    c) Is it possible to group bars? Lets say I have nine bars belonging to three categories, such that I have three bars close together with small spaces in between, then a bigger space, then three bars together, then a bigger space and finally three bars together. I tried including a blank row in between but the space it leaves is bigger than what I'd like it to be.

    Thankyou very much in advance!

    Hi gjrr4x1

yes you can do what you are asking to do. I have a few samples but there are many ways to do this.

The top one just is a little easier.

    Groupings and Custom Grid Lines.xls

Let me know if this helps.
