I attached a sample spreadsheet. I want the results to remain in either currency or accounting but they always return to general when collapsing and expanding.
Thanks

I am having the same issue in 2010 - so would love to see an answer.
Hello Scott,
Please check the attached file and let me know if this is what you wanted.

Hello,
Yes that is perfect. What exactly did you do though? That is only a sample sheet I used for this forum. I have a sheet with the actual problem on a company database.
Click on the Pivot Table
If filed list is not showing then right click and select show field list
Undder values (at the bottom right) click on sum of order then click on value field setting
Click on number format at the bottom left of value field setting box and format the way you want it.
Hope this helps with your main file.
Best Regards/VKS
That works perfectly....aren't these forums wonderful. Folks willing to share their knowledge and quickly too. Have a great weekend!
Okay that worked for the values! Now, my next question involves the Row Labels. For my main file, I have the exact same layout as the sample spreadsheet. The weird thing is some of the order numbers are marked as currency. Do you know how to change the format for Row Labels?
Check the raw data for row labels. I think it may be coming from there only.
Yeah I'm not sure what's going on with the format of my table. When I change the number format for the values, some of the order numbers change to currency as well as the values (but only some of them, very bizarre). I checked the raw data and it is stored as text.
