Scatter plot data point identification by day of the week it was generated on.

I've got a scatter plot of kWh HVAC daily power consumption VS. daily average temperature. Each data point was generated for a day of the week. Is there a way I can replace the symbols in the plot with a numeral 1 to 7, or Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa? to show what day the data came from, so I can see the daily trends?

oeldere, Thanks for the response. I don't have a file I can post. But that's OK because if I had one I wouldn't know how to post it, so I'll try to give the idea below.

Date Day HVAC kWh Avg. Temp F High [ Fri
    7/21/13 Sun 37 100 [ Thu
    7/22/13 Mon 43 103 [ Wed Sat
    7/23/13 Tue 45 105 [ Tue
    7/24/13 Wed 47 107 kWh [ Mon
    7/25/13 Thu 49 109 [
    7/26/13 Fri 51 111 [
    7/27/13 Sat 47 113 low [ Sun
    _____________________________________________________
    Low Average Temperature High

So if we were looking at this chart we could conclude that a heat wave was setting in driving the HVAC power consumption up, but that the building is not in use Sat, and Sun, so the HVAC load is lower on the weekend.

Oops, a lot of spaces were deleted from the post that made what you see a nice rising trend where HVAC kWh was proportional to Avg. Temp, except Sun, and Sat had less HVAC power than the balance of the week.
