Is it possible to dynamically update a charts data series, based on another cell

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to get a chart to change the data series that populates it, based on the contents of another cell.

I have a single cell A1, which contains a data validation list (but with only two options), based on the content selected by the user, I would like the pareto chart to update to show all the categories based upon that vaildation?

I have created named ranges for the two data series i would like to populate the chart with, but am going round in circles trying to find out if I can get the chart to change its data series. I can't put all the data in one series as the data needs to be sorted from largest volume to smallest and the list changes between the two available options in the data validation cell.

I am hoping one you lovely experts can enlighten me (or else put me out of my misery so I can tell my boss it can't be done )
