Animating a column graph

Hi

I know you can animate graphs in powerpoint, and usualy they are th bubble graphs, but can you animate a column grpah?

Basically what i am trying to do is when the user selects a year/month the columns go up or down by animation rather then just a quick change to the visual.

Its not intended to be anything spectacular just a nice visual for a presentation, but something that im trying to do within excel rather than powerpoint.

Would anyone know if this is possible by adding in a macro to the chart?
