Pivot Table with Running totals not working

I have a pivot table and the running totals are showing as #NA. I highlighted the data and selected "field settings". Picking "show values as" and selecting "running total in" and picking "ownership". I end up with:

run corp Column Labels
Row Labels BYOD Corporate
7/26/2013 40 112
8/2/2013 0 1
8/16/2013 0 1

What I want is BYOD to read: 40 40 40 and Corporate as 112 113 114

If I select any other field for the running total in - I get #NA. Any suggestions?
