Pivot Table Not Grouping by Month for Latest Month (groups > 7/20/2013)

I have a sales pivot table that is arranged to let me see how much each customer is spending over the course of last year and this year.

The customer (product and sale amount) data is grouped by month by year.

I tried refreshing the data to include the data from the latest complete month (August 2013) and it only comes up with a > 7/20/2013

All the previous months work fine ... it is just everything that is after 7/20/2013 that is refusing to group by month.

I tried everything I can think of in Excel. I searched on Google and these forums for the last few hours. I am have no idea what to try now...

Any ideas?

I seems to me, the data > 7/20/2013 are not in the pivot table data.

Make a table of your data.

Excel 2007 => insert => table.

After that make an (new) pivot table of your data.

See if that helps.

How is your data inputted (manual)?

If you have made an table of the data, the data automatic expands and will be in your pivot table the next time you refresh the pivot table.
