Excel 2007 Graphing with Legends

I have a problem that needs to be fixed!

I would like to make a graph on Excel 2007 that uses dates for the x-axis and percentages for the y-axis, but I also would like to have each category (x-axis) have it's own legend.

For example, say I would like to record data for how much a child plays per day if allowed to play one activity for 3 hours, but each day the child will have to do a different activity chosen out of 5 various activities.

I was thinking about creating a formula that would decide which series the category would go into based off another cell's value (one that corresponds to each category individually), but I suck at formulas

EDIT: Especially really long and complex ones that this might need

You can either use formula to build a data table for charting or use pivot table/chart
