How to subtotal in Pivot with Continuous Dates

    Hi everyone,

Is it possible to do a subtotal in a pivot if you have a set of continuous dates?

Basically I have this pivot (picture attached) but at the beginning of each year I want an annual total, I then want to be able to drill down and see what each value was for each month. I thought this would be possible using a tabular pivot and subtotals but I can't get it to work.

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Alice

Try right clicking your dates and grouping by year. You have to make sure your raw data is stored as dates of some kind and not text. I hope that helps.
