two stacked columns with two different y axes

Driving me crazy!!! I am trying to create a simple chart. Two stacked columns with two different y axes.

    Unit Revenue
    13 $52
    15 $64
    22 $34
    14 $15
Tried many different ways but always can't get it right. see the attached spreadsheet. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi,

Try right clicking on the chart and again selecting the stacked column chart. That will restore your series 1. Is that what you're after?

    Hello,

I can feel your frustration. What I don't quite understand is how you want to plot your data. Both of your charts plot the two stacks on different Y axes.

What do you want the chart to look like? What is it that does not work for you in the charts you posted?

Maybe you can draw a picture with a pen, scan it and attach it here? Or use MS Paint and draw the chart conceptually, then post the image.

I'm sure someone here will be able to come up with the answer, if only the question is a bit clearer.

    cheers,

Re: two stacked columns with two different y axes

Thanks guys. Sorry I have been away for a while. Basically i want a chart showing a stacked bar for Unit on the left withY axis on the left, and a stacked bar for Revenue with Y axis on the right. In the attached file, I tried two different approaches but both have problems: on the top one, Series1 somehow disappeares and numbers don't stack up correctly either; on the bottom one, revenue numbers stack up correctly but Unit numbers gone wild. Supposed to be straightforward but I cannot figure it out. Any help will be appreciated.

    jiansong_yu,

your lower chart follows the right approach. The problem is that not all series in the Units stack are plotted on the primary axis. I moved them to the primary axis. See attached.

Re: two stacked columns with two different y axes

    Hello,

I am trying to make a same graph with two stacked columns with 2 different u axes. I want to make 2 stacked columns of (S1 and S2) and (O1 and O2). The organization of the table as in the excel table. Under the X-axis, I want to reveal the information in the first 3 lines. The most difficult part for me now is to make this 2 stacked column graph with 1 data column in the excel table having 2 stacked columns of S and O. Could you please help me out with this? Thank you so much.

    Cheers,
