Customizing X Axis

I am having difficulty with what I think should be simple to solve. I want to structure the X axis to represent proportional units of measure from the Y axis. I want the value of 180 on the Y axis to position at point 10 on the X axis. I want the next value of 80 on the Y axis to position at point 30 on the X axis. And I want the next value of 40 on the Y axis to position at point 43 along the X axis. So there will be only one graphic line in the chart 180-80-40 positioned above 10-30-43 tick marks on the X axis that are proportionally spaced from the Y axis. Hopefully I have explained this clearly enough. Thanks

Not sure what you are after but you can label the axis by using dummy series.

If the points should be equally or proportionally space then I guess you will need to manipulate the data in some way with formula.

I had to use millimeter block paper to graph what I wanted (.pdf attached). This includes full scale and half scale. The question involves how many minutes of run time can you expect from a UPS (Universal Power Supply) at a given watt drain. My equipment draws 147 watts, so I dropped a vertical line at the appropriate Y axis intercept. I thought Excel might be able to reproduce this in some way. Perhaps it can. At this point I am just exploring and exercising my brain.

You can create a xy-scatter chart.

You need to reverse the vertical axis if you want to match your example, also set the Min/Max values.

If you only want certain axis labels displayed then you will need to use dummyseries and their data labels.
