Link Pivot Tables, Filter with One Slicer

    Hello All,
I was wondering if I could get some help linking two pivot tables then filtering a consistent value with a single slicer. Here are the criteria:

In the attached example workbook I have two data tables on different sheets. This can be switched to have all data tables on one sheet if necessary.

The data tables cannot be combined with one on top of the other, in the actual data, the tables are added to every day.

The common field in the Job Number. This also needs to be the report filter for the pivot table.

The data in each row (Columns A:M) is inherent to that job number.

With one slicer for the job number, I need to know total issues per job, noted in column K. Example: Job 1 has 10 total issues, 5 per table.

Just as a note, I need to link 20 tables that will have a maximum of 20K rows of data per table in my actual data.

    Thanks!

Just as a note, I'm also looking at VLOOKUP as a possiblity as well, but I would ideally like this to be accomplished with pivot tables.

    Thanks!

Do you have the Power Query add-in available? You may use that to append all your tables to one master table so that you can make a pivot from a single data source. Otherwise you may be able to use a consolidation pivot table if all you require is totals by job number.

    Hello Izandol,
    Thanks for the reply!
I downloaded Power Query and I like the add-in very much for my application. However, although this is a great tool for me to use, it's not consistent with the end goal of this application, which is to make the process as simple as possible for for the end user (which wont be me). Looking back at my original post, I should have explained that better, so my apologies.
    Thanks!

Then you may try the consolidation range pivot table. If that is not sufficient for your needs - and it is not a flexible solution - you may require code to consolidate the data for you in some way.

    Thanks Izandol!
The consolidation doesnt apper to work for my data, all I get is the date. Am I doing this wrong?

    THanks!

    Update

    Hi All,
I ended up merging all my data on a seperate sheet then running the pivot table off fo that data to solve my problem. Here is a copy of the macro I used to handle the merge:
