    New calculated Field in Powerpivot

    Hey all,

    I have a column in powerpivot that has Products total amounts. Some of them are negative amounts but I want them to be positive. How would I write an IF statement for it? I want it to say " If Division amount column is a negative, then multiply by -1 but it is a positive , leave it as a positive"

    Thanks,

    Erica

    Try This in top cell;
    =IF(DivCol<0,DivCol*-1,DivCol*1)

    If OK, then copy down with fill handle. I know that normally Pivot Tables will only allow simple formulas, so;
    If excel doesn’t allow this copy data and paste to new location “as values” then you can use all formulas. Careful not to destroy your Pivot Table.
