Fastest way/shortcut to add similar data to a chart

    Morning all,

I have a plot of data in a chart. I've added a worksheet to the same workbook which has data that I want added to this plot. The data is in the SAME columns/rows, the only difference is the worksheet name. I'm looking for the quickest way to add the data to this chart as I have to do this many number of times. Perhaps if possible to somehow copy the =SERIES("Title",sheet_name!$A$11:$A$18882,sheet_name!$R$11:$R$18882,5) and paste it back in with just a sheet name change?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Right click the plot area
    Select "Select Data"
Select the "Add" button on the left hand side above the series data list
    Select the ranges containing :-
    Series Name
    Series data

That is the way I have been doing it, however it is not very quick as you have to select the ranges manual or edit both Y and X axes.

The more complex but faster option is to use VBA... Do you have an example workbook ?

The forum is not allowing me to attach a file! I forgot to mention I have multiple graphs with data taken from a number of coloumns. But this should be editable in the macro I assume?

The file was too large but it is attached now! So the two sheets of data, one of which is plotted on the graph. I want the other sheet data also plotted on the same graph automatically, with the equivalent columns/rows.
Could the new plot of data on the graph also have a series name with say any string that's placed in cell A1 of the sheet the data is on?

    Thanks!
