Adding additional Values to a Bar chart

Hi everyone,

I am often updating a number of chart bars in PowerPoint which require to show the data label as well as other data outside the chart but that needs to be displayed next to a specific data field, and more importantly, exactly aligned on the right hand side.

I have attached an example of what I mean - sorry is in a zip file, it won't let me upload PowerPoint files for some reason. Right now as you can see I'm using text fields (for the PCYA) and playing around with spacing to align those figures, but as you can imagine it is very time consuming.

Does anyone know how to do that by selecting all the data or any shortcut?

First, I have not looked at your attachment, but have you considered putting your data into a table, then creating a pivot chart off the data? The data should be able to update fairly easily, and the format should hold. Once refreshed, you could copy it into another program. I do this on a regular basis and it updates easily for me, and keeps the format.

Thanks for your feedback. The issue is more to do with how to align additional data with a bar chart than updating the data. If you look at the charts you'll see the charts are very basic, it's an alignment issue.
