    dynamic chart area for rows

    Hi,

    I'm trying to make a graph that adds automatically another Row to my Barchart. So that everytime a new task is put in Column A another bar appears.

    I tried with named ranges and to get the data with the sheet name in front but it always changes back to a static reference. I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong...

    I attached a workbook showing my problem. I already defined a named range

    I solved it another way now.

    Everytime the sheet is activated the sourcedata changes in vba and as well when a spefic cell is changed. Because I already have formulas in the cells below the source data in my original file there is no possibility to do that with a named range.

    Seems like something MS could work on though...
