Search option to control Pivot Table

I am Naren. I am working on a project where I have to update a Pivot Table based on any Cell Value. Please do let me know If I can do this.
Also if I use Slicer, then Is it possible to add a "Search" option to it?

May you explain the first part of the question more fully?
There is no ability for search on a slicer. (If you need search, I do not think you should use a slicer)

I want Pivot Table to filter based on the input given in a cell/List. If we add search option to it then nothing better than this.
May you provide a sample workbook so that we see precisely what it is that you require?
