    1. How create grouped bars. 2. and how to manualy put in individual standard error

    Hey folks

Have been searching these questions without any luck and found this forum ! I am a pretty noobie on this and are trying following without success:

    1. Create bars in groups/group bars - how do you group certain bars together in charts?

    2. Put in standard errors in each bar - whenever I do it, excel wants to have the same standard error in all bars - how put in individual standard errors in each bar?

    Am using excel 2010

Pure graphicaly I want it to look something like this:
    Bar_charts_with_error-_bars_JMP.jpg

Thanks, appreciate any help on these very much

Sample workbook is more useful than picture. The picture looks like simple three series clustered bar chart.

Anyone who can actually reply to the question(s): how to group a bunch of individual bars in excel 2010 with individual standard error on each bar?

    BlackSwan2,

    1) The excellent suggestion in post #2 should be followed if you're looking for specific hand-holding in your workbook.

    2) The link in post #3 is a complete primer for error bars and includes sections for pre-2007 and 2007+ versions of Excel.

    3) The accidental (?) attitude in post #4 was probably not a good idea.
