importing data and create chart

I need to import a set of point coordinates in excel, contained in a .txt file, and then create the xy chart. I tried several times but can not seem to create the chart. I know the procedure, but I must be wrong.

I ask you if you can pass directly to the excel file with the chart created, this is something very important and urgent!

Use Text to Columns to create 2 columns of numbers.
Create chart.
