How to add a vertical line graph on a stacked horizontal bar chart?

As per title.

Please kindly explain how to do it step by step.

The ideal result will be adding the grey line (total value) on the bar chart like this: Idea.png

Confused... The grey line is somewhat offset from the actual totals in the data rows. In row 2, the actual total is 4.29. Is it intentional that your grey line is at about 5.0? I so, what sort of offset do you want?

The "total" column is not a sum of all steps but a separate set of values that I wish to show as a vertical line graph.
