Axis & Legend Labels Missing when viewing from Excel 2010

    Hi guys.

I produced several charts in Excel 2007. They display just fine when using Excel 2007, but when we try to open it in our office computers (which uses Excel 2010), the Axis and Legend Labels simply vanish.
I know there's these fixes for Excel 2007, deleting a buggy MS hotfix or installing the KB2597962 fix. But the problem is, I need it to display in our Excel 2010 computers.

    Any clue?

Are you able to produce the charts in xl2010 and check they are still there?

Can you post example workbook. Perhaps also include a screen shot of chart with axis/legend in case it's missing when we look
    Cheers

    Sorry for the late response.

To answer your question, yes. When produced in XL10, there's no problems whatsoever with the charts.
My dilemma is: I have produced and manually edited some 25 charts in XL07. It would be painful to reproduced them. But it seems there's no hope for me.

I've found the root of this problem. And it's not what I thought initially: that it was a XL07 bug.

When I tried to re-create the charts in XL10 for the second time, the labels were missing. So I tested parts of my VBA code, so I could isolate the problem. And here it was:

The problem was with the ".Name" command. I don't know why, but it makes the labels disappear.

Try chaning the order so you change the font name before altering its size.

No luck with that, Andy. The labels still disappear when I use that command, no matter the order.
